  1. I like Taylor’s books too and I enjoy reading Kathleen Norris, Joan Chittester, Parker Palmer, and an old favorite Richard Foster—especially his “Celebration of Discipline.” And although she may not be particularly sound theology I do enjoyAnneLamott.

    1. I’ve also enjoyed Norris, Palmer, and Lamott over the years. I think Anne Lamott has a way of getting right to the heart of things in such an honest way. I need to pick up some Chittester because based on your list, I’d probably find her formational, too!
